Ipswich stun Fulham with last-gasp comeback to increase heat on Arbeloa
Álvaro Arbeloa rejected claims that he struggles under pressure after Fulham’s defeat at Ipswich stretched their winless Premier League run to six games. The ex-Real Madrid boss was just moments away from securing his first league victory following Ryan Sessegnon’s superb 55th-minute goal, but the away side collapsed dramatically in the closing stages.
Abdoul Ouattara unleashed a stunning 30-yard drive to equalize for Ipswich in the 88th minute, and Dara O’Shea headed in Jack Clarke’s free-kick deep into stoppage time, handing the visitors a painful defeat. Tottenham’s draw at Manchester United pushed Fulham to the bottom of the standings.
